The Custom Pricing, or Special Pricing, feature allows you to override the default pricing in the system when a specific customer is selected for an order. Presently, you MUST enter the customer information first before the system can reflect the changed prices.
To override default pricing for a customer, navigate to the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) and open the customer's profile. Once loads, click the "Edit Custom Pricing" button or click the "Special" tab.
Once loaded, you will see a list of all of your Schedule Profiles and Items that can be manually modified for individual customers.
Note: This section can vary from account to account. It is all dependent on the configuration, which is completely customizable. The example below shows a standard DRS configuration with Homeowner/Contractor and 4 dumpsters with tonnage by size.
Any change in pricing will show with a green highlight and a refresh icon:
Custom/Special Pricing Requirements:
- For a Schedule Profile to appear in the Custom Pricing, the "Allow Customer Level Pricing" setting must be set to "Yes" under Admin > Products > Schedule Profiles.
- Items with a Cost/Price of "0" or blank will NOT appear in the list. Items must have a non-zero price to display in Custom Pricing.
Modifying Prices:
To change the price for either the daily rate, tonnage, or item price, click on the correct line and a pop-up box will appear.
For any item, clicking on the item will allow you to modify the Base Cost. Click "Update" when finished to commit the changes:
For Tonnage or a more complex price rule, such as Daily Rate, only ONE box can be modified at a time. Change the value, as needed, and click "Update" next to the box. You can re-open the rule and change the other values, as needed:
To reset the price back to the default, click the "Refresh Icon" next to any of the highlighted rows:
